Mother's Day Gift!

What kind of present did you prepared for your lovely mom? This year, I sew bags for them! THEM??? Sounds like I got many moms. LOL. Don't get me wrong. Actually, 1 is for my own mother, and the other 1 is for my mom in law. ^^


This is for my mom in law. I sew a big bag for her last time. That is why, this time I sew a smaller size bag for her.

I make my own pattern. Still need a lot of improvement. If the bottom edge part is round, it should looks better. What do you think?

This is the inner view. 1 open pocket & 1 zipper pocket. Got place to hold her water bottle and her keys too!

Now, this is for my mother. Last year I made her a short wallet. This time, I sew her a very simple bag because she doesn't fancy those flowery designed bag.

Another view of the bag. A long zipper on top of the bag with PU leather bag handle. It's a jean's fabric actually but the soft type.


Here you are. The inner view. With 1 open pocket & 1 zipper pocket too. This is a very lazy & soft bag. It can't stand by it's own as I didn't use the stabilizer. 
Well, I hope my moms do love them.

Ballerina in Paris' Tote Bag (ST050)

This is the overall look of the bag. I love the simple & sweet looks~


More clearer view of the bag. Side of the bag uses leather fixed with rivets button. D-ring provided for you to hang your bag's charm. 

There is a metal zipper at the back of the bag. 

It's a clip of bag handle! No worries, Nicky have tried to put in approx. 2 kgs book and hang on the door for about 2 hours without effect the bag's design. You can use it without worrying the clip will loose. Anyway, you won't carry a 2 kgs' weight bag for shopping right? It must hurt a lot on the shoulder!

There is a open pocket and a zipper pocket. Not a wide bag at the bottom part. Hope you like the simple design!

Tote Bag for Myself

Finished this bag quite sometime ago and now only have the time to upload it. Sorry ye, the lazy worm inside my body don't want to wake up. **LOL**This is the front size of the bag. I have used 120g batting which is available at my craft supplies' blog  HERE. This is a light weight bag indeed.
And this is the other side of the bag. I have used up the whole 1 meter of this street fabric. I haven't count natural linen fabric some more. I think total I have used up about 1.5 meter fabric just for this simple bag.
Well, my first attempt to sew up the zipper like this. Quite like it.
Many pockets inside the bag to hold my daughter's thingy. Very good to use especially during traveling.
One zipper pocket hidden inside a big pocket.
And finally, the bottom of the bag. I purposely used the dark color fabric so that it won't get dirty too easy.

Cherry Strawberry Tote Bag

This is my latest creation! I have actually bought this canvas fabric from Maymayshop and plan to use it long time ago. I just can't figure out how to match the fabric until I saw this red stripe fabric in my collection and I thought it might just work out. Without drawing any pattern on paper like I used to be, I directly use a paper bag to get the size and draw on the fabric directly. After cutting done, then, I get started to sew & sew! Well, the idea of where to sew the handmade label, lace, pocket, closure and handle design, they just pop out in my mind along the way I sew the bag.



This is how the lace look on the bottom of the bag. Doesn't really looks like what I had imagined in my mind. LOL...

These are the handle using think lobster clasp and eyelet. Very tiring on hammering the 4 eyelets and 8 rivet buttons on the handle. The closure was using the mini rose 1.2cm snap button. Really cute!



I actually like the inner of the bag the most. Can't keep myself to fall in love with this natural linen color recently. It does match with almost any colors! I sew one zipped pocket one side and the other side like the below photo.

After turn the bag inside out. Oh ya, there is a place where you can actually put your pen. Did you saw it at the side of the bag which have lace one? hahaha
If you don't mind the magnetic button is outside of the bag, you can actually use both side of the bag!


That's the zipped pocket and the below photo is inside the zipper pocket with some nice flowers.


That's how it looks after the outside in inside. hahaha... Dunno what I am talking about already. Anyway, hope you enjoy reading!
